Kant, an Enlightened Schwärmer
On October 23, 2023, at Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Dr. Anna Tomaszewska delivered a presentation titled “Kant, an Enlightened Schwärmer” as part of the extended seminar on “Ethics, Politics and Religion: Kantian Perspectives.”
Colloquium Presentation
Dr Anna Tomaszewska gave a paper titled “What Kind of Religion Did Kant Have?” at the colloquium “Kant’s Moral Vision as Affirmative Religion” at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, in 31.3.2023.
BETWEEN SECULARIZATION AND REFORM
A volume edited by Anna Tomaszewska, published by Brill in 2022. The book asks to what extent Enlightenment was against religion and for reforming it. Contributors analyze early modern religious controversies, the significance of faith in national contexts, clandestine philosophy, varieties of rational religion, and the intermingling of heterodoxy with unbelief in the writings of key thinkers and less famous figures.
Meeting with Professor Ian Hunter
On 20.7.2023, the project members met Professor Ian Hunter to discuss his book draft on the Kantian religion. In the meeting, Dr. Anna Tomaszewska and Wojciech Kozyra gave short commentaries on Professor Hunter's work. Polish magazine "Filozofuj" also published a short report on even that can by clicking "Learn more" button.

THE SOURCES OF SECULARISM
